• 12 noon to 2 PM: Seller registration: book in your lots

• 2 to 3 PM: Viewing: potential buyers can inspect what’s on offer.

Key info for buyers and sellers (please also see the full rules below):

• This is a cash only sale : we do not have card facilities and cannot accept cheques.

• Any cycling related item is welcome.

• There is a £2 fee per lot entered in the auction, payable by the seller in advance.

• In addition, a 10% sellers fee and 10% buyers fee will apply. So if the hammer price is £100, the buyer will pay £110 and the seller will receive £90. Sellers may set a reserve.

Bike Jumble / Saddle Bag Sale

Please note this sale is for second hand goods only – absolutely no new items please. New old stock is acceptable. And please note that no complete bikes are permitted in the marquee, to ensure that we can make the most of the limited space. However, an area immediately outside the marquee will be roped-off for the unsupervised sale of complete bikes, so be sure to bring a lock if you wish to use this.

Also, we know that a number of people would like to sell their items throughout the Rally, rather than just in the limited time of the Saddlebag Sale. 

Anyone wishing to sell items on an ongoing basis during the Rally is invited to contact our Trade Co-Ordinator – for 2024 outdoor trade stands are free of charge if you book any campsite pitch, or just £50 if you do not 

The marquee will be open for setting up your tables from 9AM.

When you arrive on site, please mention to the marshals on the entrance that you are a Saddlebag Sale/cycle jumble seller and you will be directed up to park near the marquee where the sale takes place. Please go dead slow on the Rally site.

In 2024 all loading/unloading will again be from the rear of the marquee: no vehicles are permitted in the central event area. Parking for unloading and loading will be clearly signed and marshalled: please do not attempt to park anywhere else.

Exhibiting is now COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE if you camp on site, or just £50 (for any size of stand) if you don’t.

Being part of the York Cycle Festival 2024 means being part of the only major consumer cycling event for the North of England – with an appeal crossing MTB, road, gravel/bike packing, traditional touring and more.
